Gilmore Girls: Why Rory Is The True Main Character (& Why Lorelai Is)
Given that the name of the show is Gilmore Girls, you'd think that each episode would be a 50/50 split between the travails and triumphs of both mother and daughter. But, just as in real life, things aren't totally even and situations become all about one person or another.

There were indeed times when storylines made it seem as though the title should have been changed to "The Rory Show" or "Life with Lorelai," with the other Gilmore appearing to be a supporting character as opposed to a co-star. Even when that happened though, the series was still on brand, in that "where you lead I will follow" way, because Lorelai (Lauren Graham) and Rory (Alexis Bledel) were always there for each other in one way or another.

Comment pouvais-je passer à côté, mes chers Muffins, je vous le demande!? Je ne peux pas tenir un blog littéraire, proférer à tout va que je suis fan de Gilmore Girls depuis mes 13 ans et ne pas vous présenter la Rory Gilmore Reading List!
Un peu de contexte: Gilmore Girls est une série terminée, diffusée ingång 2000 et 2007 (mais qui repart pour quelques épisodes enstaka novembre Hiiiiiiiiiiii!), dans laquelle on suit Lorelai et Rory, mère et fille qui n’ont que 16 petites années d’écart. Les dialogues sont rapides, drôles et bourrés dem références culturelles, l’univers est à la fois adorable et déjantés et j’ai tout simplement adoré grandir à Stars Hollow (la petite ville ni Connecticut dans laquelle titta déroule la plupart dem l’histoire) et avec tous ses habitants.
Pour en revenir à Rory, c’est une jeune fille très intelligente et studieuse qui souhaite entrer à Harvard depuis qu’elle est toute petite. Elle adore
