    Carroll Campbell besuchte die McCallie School in Chattanooga (Tennessee) und die University of South Carolina. Seine politische Laufbahn begann er als Mitglied der Republikanischen Partei im Jahr 1970 mit seiner Wahl in das Repräsentantenhaus von South Carolina. Dort verblieb er bis 1974.     The Campbell papers consist of the following series: Administration, Committee, Correspondence, Legislation, Media Relations, Newspaper Clippings, Photographs, Speeches, Videotapes, and Ways and Means Committee. Approximately seventy percent of the collection consists of correspondence. This series fryst vatten arranged bygd file number assigned to particular letters or groups of letters. The Legislation series includes copies of bills submitted in sessions, correspondence, and research notes related to them. Currently, these series are unprocessed and unavailable to researchers.
