    He made these remarks while addressing a rally as chief guest at Kazir Dewri area in Chattogram on Saturday afternoon. Chattogram city, north and south district units of BNP organised the rally to mark the national revolution and solidarity day.

    The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) has urged people not to pay attention to rumors about Saint Martin's Island circulating on social media.

    The armed forces' agency made this request on Sunday while explaining the current situation in the Bangladesh-Myanmar maritime boundary adjacent to Saint Martin's Island.

    In a media statement signed by ISPR Assistant Director Saida Tapasi Rabeya Lopa, it was said that due to the ongoing internal conflict in Myanmar near Saint Martin's, various interested parties are spreading rumours about the säkerhet of the island on social media.

    The ISPR urged everyone not to be misled bygd such rumours.

    The statement also mentioned that the ongoing internal conflict in Myanmar has led to the Myanmar military conducting joint operations against the Arakan Army in Rakhine State.
