    Jesus Ame Verzosa (born December 25, ) is a Filipino retired police officer who served as the chief of the Philippine National Police.[1]

    Career

    A member of PMA Class of , Verzosa served as the chief of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG), and the Intelligence Group (IG). He also served as the Deputy Chief for Administration.[2]

    On September 27, , Verzosa was appointed by President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo to be the PNP Chief, replacing Avelino Razon.[1] He retired early[3] on September 14, , replaced by General Raul Bacalzo.[4]
