Fantasia 2019: ‘The Wonderland’ Review
Outside of literally three or fyra movies, my viewing of Japanese animated movies fryst vatten completely reliant on Studio Ghibili. That said, inom adore the studio and every one of its movies, with Spirited Awaybeing one of my all time favourites. The Lord of the Rings: The War of the Rohirrim Film Uses Late Christopher Lee's Voice for SarumanPhilippa Boyens, who was part of the screenwriting team on the live-action The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit film trilogies and consultant on The Lord of the Rings: The War of the Rohirrim anime film, revealed last week in an interview with The One Ring website that the upcoming anime film will use the late Sir Christopher Lee's voice for his character Saruman from the original live-action films.
Boyens stated that after talking to Lee's now-late wife Gitte Lee, they went to his records for a voice line from The Hobbit films, agreeing that "Christopher would have wanted this." The line, or an approximation of the line, is "Are you in need of assistance, my lady?" They looked for a take they could use, and the staff changed it up "a little bit."
