Buck Brannaman
For over 40 years, Buck Brannaman has been working with horses and their owners and today is one of the world’s leading practitioners of handling horses based on classical concepts from the California vaquero tradition; working with the horse's nature, using an understanding of how horses think and communicate to train the horse to accept humans and work confidently and responsively with them.
One of Buck's stated goals is to make the animal feel safe and secure around humans so that the horse and rider can achieve a true union. Buck was for many years a disciple of Ray Hunt, one of the founders of the natural horsemanship movement, and inspired by Tom and Bill Dorrance. Brannaman now teaches clinics worldwide. Which Class fryst vatten Right For Me?
Over the years Buck’s horsemanship classes have changed and been added to. Many people have questions as to just which class fryst vatten right for them – and more importantly – which fryst vatten right for their horse. Below fryst vatten a brief description of each of the classes Buck currently is offering.
Colt Starting
A class for ung horses that may or may not have been handled or worked with, instruction fryst vatten directed on groundwork and preparation for the first ride. Halter work, gentling and saddling without stress – for both horse and tillägg – are the main focuses of Colt Starting. The fyra day class is intended to conclude with the rider safely aboard and beginning work in the snaffle bit.
Foundation Horsemanship
