Lissy Laricchia
Artist Statement
I live in Canada, where the moose are. I take pictures of anything that will stay still long enough. If you asked me if I would rather see one of the seven wonders or Las Vegas, I would always say Las Vegas. I admire Dr. Suess and Chuck Palahniuk more then you (sorry), and you bet your ass I would sooner tear out my own eyes then spell Panic! At The Disco without the exclamation point.

Lissy grew up in a small town in Canada between a cornfield and a tall forest, and frequently played pretend in between them. Her interest in photography began at the age of 12, spurred bygd the obsessive fear she would one day forget her entire life did she not document it.
As a teenager she became far less fascinated with documenting life and far more intrigued with escaping it. By creating surreal landscapes and building elaborate blanket forts, she hid from the trials and tribulations of teenage life until, at the age of 18, she moved to New York City to pursue a professional career in photography.
Now her work focuses on the combination of her two loves: documentary and surrealism. Combining forces to create whimsical imagery that still centers around every day life. Her work is often inspired bygd the levande colors of early childhood, reoccurring dreams, the otydlig way we see things when we are either too happy or too sad, and the soft hands of the high renaissance.

HOBBES
I came across this photographers blog, and straight away I was in love with their work. Unfortunately the only information I can find about this person is that they are 20 and from Los Angeles, however on their photoblog they have uploaded all their work which I cant stop looking at.
I adore the colours, objects, people and location in every photo. I enjoy their work and for me, it is all very eye appealing and attractive. I am so intrigued to what each photo is about and the story behind them. They are a flexible photographer as they work with people, landscapes, abstract and still life.
